Amanda Kubek

Nationality: American
Degree: Fall 2, 2001 MA International Relations & March 2001, MBA, December 2001.

AkubekI came to Webster initially for the International Relations class. I knew I wanted to get this degree, and it seemed contradictory to work towards an international diploma in my home country. So I proceeded with research on schools abroad. Ultimately, I chose Webster because of the degree flexibility, the wide range of classes and the central London location. Since I want to work abroad, I realised that pursuing an MBA would be essential to my career path.

The decision to stay at Webster was easy. I love the professors and the format of the classes. To me, Webster is an excellent choice for people interested in pursuing an international degree. Students are given the opportunity to study amongst peers and work with professors from all over the world, creating an exciting environment for global debate and exchange. I have made lasting friendships and gained a certain cultural awareness that studying in my home country could not provide. Also, studying and living in London is second to none. I would not trade my experiences here for anything.

"The quality of education together with the exclusive diversity of students in Webster Graduate School was an extremely enriching experience. It is a fact that London is a major cosmopolitan city, a feature inevitably reflected in most of its universities, yet the selection of students in Webster proved to be more diverse. The tranquillity of the campus being located in the beautiful Regents Park added a distinctive essence to the whole experience."
