Nationality: Indian
Degree: M.B.A With Emphasis in Finance, 2008

Attending a business school has long been one of my ambitions.

When I started my MBA I knew I wanted to stay in finance, but I also wanted to develop a broader set of skills. My background was very quantitative and narrow. I was also very interested in living and potentially working abroad, particularly in London.

The Webster Graduate School London MBA opened doors to a truly international career and global financial centre, with a balanced work culture and superb location and provides varied courses at Masters level. It provided me with the intellectual flexibility to adapt to new and demanding roles and to be able to tackle any management problems – it also gave me an amazing personal and professional network of international contacts.

At WGSL, both classes and extracurricular activities inspire new levels of leadership. Here, I can push ideas and convince others to act on them. I've gained the confidence to be in front of accomplished peers and earn their respect.

After completing my MBA I want to serve in a general manager role, most likely in an Investment Bank.

"I decided to apply to the International Relations programme because I felt that my studies would benefit me in the performance of my duties as a Staff Officer at the American Embassy in London. The programme has provided me with a much broader perspective and a better understanding of regional political affairs. I would highly recommend the programme to anyone interested in pursuing a career in the international arena. It has been challenging and rewarding, but most of all it has been fun."
