Important Visa Information for non-EU/EEA Nationals

Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies

Due to changes in the UKBA sponsorship management system, as of the 22nd February 2010, students will no longer be issued a visa letter in support of their student visa application.

From the 22nd February 2010, Regent's College will assign a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) - this is a unique reference number that students must use to apply for permission to study in the UK as a Tier 4 (general) student.

Regent's College can only assign a CAS when the following two criteria have been met:

  1. The student has been given an unconditional offer, and
  2. The student has paid his/her registration fee and deposit towards tuition fees (£1050 in total)

Students will be personally notified by Regent's College once their CAS has been assigned, and will be given the number to use as part of their visa application.

Any student who applies for a Tier 4 (General) student visa after the 22nd of February 2010 must do so using a CAS.

All paper visa letters become invalid after this date. If you have been issued a visa letter prior to February, please ensure you apply for your visa no later than the 21st February 2010.

CAS Valid for Six Months

A CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) will be valid for six months from the date assigned. Students must apply for their Tier 4 student visa within that six months, before the CAS expires.

Please visit the UKBA website for more information on these changes.

"While studying in Webster Graduate School I encountered several advantages. First, the classes were small (an average of 8 people per class) and thus the professors gave us their full attention. Second, the university had selected for us the best professors and among them I must mention some of them that have deeply touched my heart with their compassion."
