Part Time MBA Overview

The Part-time MBA programme at Webster Graduate School has been designed to meet the demands of executives and managers wishing to gain the benefits of an MBA while still working.

Studying for an MBA whilst working lets students bring their current work experiences to the course. Employers also benefit as their employees studying for an MBA gain motivation while applying their knowledge to make a positive impact in the work place.

Information on MBA Course Content & Course Modules

Evening Classes

Part time MBAs are taught during the evenings of the working week. Students can opt to study one or two evenings a week.

Building the course into the working week, combined with our central London location aims to minimise additional travel costs and life style adjustments.

Tutor Support

Webster Graduate school prides itself on the availability of academic staff to engage with individuals and generate an environment of mutual respect and creative learning. Our top MBA tutors are on hand to address issues and provide individual support as required.

Duration

The academic calendar is split into 5 terms, each term is 8 weeks in duration.

The duration of the course is determined by the number of classes the student wishes to take each week, and the type of MBA being studied for.

The table below shows some typical course durations.

  • It is possible for students to undertake one evening per week for a number of terms and two evenings per week during the remaining terms.
  • Student must complete a total of 12 classes to achieve the award (9 compulsory core classes and 3 electives)
  • Candidates wishing to achieve an MBA with a specific emphasis will be required to complete a minimum of 16 classes.
  • Participants can chose to study one evening per week or two evenings per week, each session being 4 hours in duration.
  • It is not possible to drop classes or take additional classes part way through a term.

Attendance

Candidates on the part-time course can choose to study one or two evenings per week and must complete each term in full.

Each evening session will take place from 5:30pm until approximately 9:45 pm.

Study Break

As the MBA programme is modula, it is possible for students to take a break from study for unforeseen work or family commitments.

  • Study breaks should always be discussed with your tutor.
  • Extended breaks of over 6 months have to be agreed in writing.

Online Flexibility

Should work commitments prevent you from attending classes, all MBA modules are available online. Students can use the online facility to complement the part-time class delivery or to complete the programme.
